“Single use plastic free Vani Vihar” campaign was launched jointly by the President of Alumni Association Sri Bijay Kumar Patnaik & the Vice Chancellor of Utkal University Prof. Sabita Acharya on 30th January, 2021.In pusuit of the said campaign, Alumni Association & the University Authorities undertook a cleaning activities of plastic debries at Gopabandhu Chhatrabas & nearby places on 12/02/2021 morning with the help of inmates of the Hostel, Supertendents of Hostels & Faculties.
